I have found that having a daughter around is the potential cause of major debt. I love having a daughter! I love all my children equally, but you can't find the adorable clothes for boys that you can for girls. Oh my goodness...the things you can find for little girls. The problem is that you might find a cute outfit, but it's not quite enough because of course there are the cute little socks, and hat or headband, maybe a little cardigan to go with it, and all of the sudden you've spent $60 on an outfit. I try not to shop for her too much, because I love buying her clothes! I have found that ebay cuts down on the clothing budget considerably. You can find very cute lots of clothes for very cheap. And babies don't wear out clothing, so they're all practically brand new. I'm just viewing this new problem of mine as an exercise of self-control. But believe me, I'd love to have an unlimited budget and go hog wild with all the cute baby things I find!

One Year Later

I looked at my blog. I can't believe that my last post refers to my now 5½ month old beautiful baby girl. I just watched Martian Child tonight, and it reminded me how precious my children are. How lucky and privileged I am to be their mom. And how many children will never feel the love that I have for my children. I want to always remember, no matter how much my kids drive me crazy and I want to get away from them sometimes, the passionate love that I have for them. I love the feeling of loving them. My heart feels like it's going to burst. My throat feels tight because it brings tears to my eyes. I love Paul, Luke and Elizabeth so much that it hurts. I never knew I could love like that.
